Mayor Natoli’s Election Promise
When Rosanna Natoli was campaigning to be elected Mayor, she spent time with the tiny house community to understand why we need to change the rules. She also indicated at several public appearances that tiny homes on wheels were an affordable form of housing and rural landowners should be able to host them on their private property. While she was happy to show her support during her campaign, it has yet to materialise since she was elected as Mayor in May 2024.
It’s time to email her and let her know that we want her to keep her promise and actively support changing the rules so tiny homes on wheels can enjoy the same security that traditional homes have.

Email Mayor Rosanna Natoli
As one of our actions, we are asking our community to email Rosanna Natoli, the Sunshine Coast Council Mayor and ask her to keep her promises. Please send a personalised email on why she needs to keep her promises and why we need to change the rules to accomodate tiny homes on wheels as a long-term housing solution. Encourage her to implement our proposed new local law so landowners can host up to 5 tiny homes on their land and create secure and stable housing within a micro-community. Our community has already sent some emails to the Sunshine Coast Council; they might provide some inspiration.
