Campaigning for Change

We are a movement of residents advocating a change in the laws to allow people to live together in tiny homes of their choice on private land.

Tiny homes on wheels, caravans and buses are a growing choice for permanent housing as they are small and unattached to land. While this housing choice may put a roof over your head, it does not give you security as you need to find somewhere to park it. In most Councils across Australia, you are limited in how long you can live in your home on wheels.

All Councils in Australia only allow one tiny home on wheels to be parked long-term on private property.

The Community

They way people want to live is changing. People are wanting to live in communities that support each other, have smaller homes, connect with nature and improve their health and wellbeing.

  • Housing is a human right, not a bargaining chip to let fall between bureaucratic cracks.

  • Housing is absolutely essential to human flourishing. Without stable shelter, it all falls apart.
